Greetings to Russian President

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, sent a message of congratulations to Comrade Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation, on June 12.

The message reads as follows:

I, on behalf of the DPRK government and all the Korean people, extend warm congratulations and comradely greetings to you and, through you, to the friendly Russian government and people on the occasion of the national day of the Russian Federation.

Under your energetic and correct leadership, the Russian people have frustrated all challenges, sanctions and pressure schemes of the hostile forces, and have reliably defended the sovereignty, security and development interests of the country. They are now advancing confidently along the road of building powerful and prosperous Russia, making remarkable successes during the course.

Our people are always rejoiced over the achievements made in Russia, our friendly neighbor, and are extending full support and solidarity to the sacred cause of the Russian army and people who are proudly advancing towards justice and truth.

Thanks to the meeting of significance between us at the Vostochny Spaceport in September last year, the DPRK-Russia friendly and cooperative relations have developed into an unbreakable ties of comrades-in-arms and a long-standing strategic relationship and are now steadily developing into a higher-level inter-state relations.

The meaningful ties and close comradely relations between us that extend into the future, will further consolidate the eternal milestone of the DPRK-Russia relations in the new era, which, in turn, will strongly promote the cause of building a powerful nation in the two countries and will also make a positive contribution to realizing the global peace and security and genuine international justice.

Only victory and prosperity will be in store for the peoples of the two countries firmly united around common aspirations and ideals.

I take this opportunity to express belief that the cause of the Russian government and people for building a great, prosperous and powerful country will surely be accomplished, and to sincerely wish you good health and greater successes in your responsible and noble work.
