This year, too, proud entities in implementing the rural revolution programme in the new era have appeared one after another at the Woldang Farm in Sinwon County, South Hwanghae Province of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
Builders and working people in Sinwon County built single- and low-storied and terraced houses for hundreds of families and public livestock sheds and planted fruit trees and other trees of good species around the houses to add beauty to the villages.
A ceremony of moving into the new houses took place on the spot on June 12.
A congratulatory address and speeches were made at the ceremony attended by Kim Chol Bom, chairman of the South Hwanghae Provincial People’s Committee, Kim Chol Min, secretary of the provincial committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials, builders and working people in Sinwon County and agricultural workers to be provided with the new houses.
Moving into new houses began in the villages with the display of cheerful peasants’ music and dances.
Officials congratulated the owners of modern houses and shared joy with them.
