Following last year, hundreds of dwelling houses have been built at the Thaephyong Farm in Hyangsan County, Jagang Province of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
The modern houses whose styles are peculiar to mountainous areas show the benevolence of the Workers’ Party of Korea in its efforts to ensure that agricultural workers enjoy socialist civilization to their heart’s content.
A house-moving ceremony took place on the spot on June 16.
Present there were Han Chil Song, secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and officials of Party and power organs, builders and agricultural workers in Hyangsan County.
An address was made.
House licenses were conveyed and speeches were made.
Amid the cheerful dances in different parts of the new villages, officials visited the new houses of farmers to share pleasure with them.
