Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Greetings from Lao President

Kim Jong Un , General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, received a message of greetings from Thongloun Sisoulith, President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, on June 24.
He, in the message, extended warm congratulations and best wishes, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and the Lao government and people and on his own behalf, to Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the Workers’ Party of Korea Central Committee, the DPRK government and the fraternal Korean people on the occasion of the 50 th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The excellent relations of friendship and cooperation with a long tradition between the two countries, which were provided by President Kaysone Phomvihan and President Kim Il Sung have been preserved and strengthened by the heads of the two Parties and two countries and their peoples while bringing substantial benefits to the peoples of the two countries and contributing to regional and global peace, stability, cooperation and development, the message said.
Expressing firm belief that the DPRK will make steady development and progress in attaining the goal of building a powerful socialist nation under the courageous and powerful leadership of the WPK headed by Kim Jong Un , the message sincerely wished him good health and happiness and greater success in his noble and honorable work.
