Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- The General Bureau of the Tanchon Area Mining Industry in the DPRK carried out its first half-yearly plan for mineral production on indices.
The Ryongyang Mine fulfilled its first half-yearly national economic plan by taking the large-scale mining operations as a permanent undertaking while paying attention to increasing the proportion of mechanization in the face operations.
The Taehung Youth Hero Mine and the Paekbawi Mine worked out a plan to mass-produce high-grade minerals and aroused officials and workers to a drive for attaining the mineral production goal.
The Tanchon Magnesia Factory and the Songjin Fireproof Material Factory carried out their production plans on all indices.
Similar successes were witnessed at the Tanchon Smeltery and the Komdok Mining Complex. -0-
