All the people and service personnel in the DPRK honoured the memory of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung , the true patriot, peerlessly great sage and eternal President of the powerful and thriving DPRK, in humble reverence on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of his demise.
Citizens and officers and soldiers of the People's Army and schoolchildren visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, where President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il lie in state, on the greatest national memorial day to pay homage to them.
Working people, youth and students and service personnel visited the statues of the great leaders and mosaics depicting the peerlessly great men across the country, including Mansu Hill in the capital city, to lay flower baskets, bouquets and flowers.
Officials, Party members, working people, service personnel and youth and students watched documentary films dealing with the sacred career of the President and his great personality at their worksites, posts, schools and houses.
At high noon, when sirens blew across the country, all the people and service personnel hardened their firm will to hold the President in high esteem forever and successfully carry forward the sacred revolutionary cause of Juche pioneered in Mt Paektu.
Meetings were held in different parts of the country to recall and praise the noble revolutionary career and immortal exploits of the President.
