In an effort to push readjustment and reinforcement, the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex is carrying out the construction of a new energy-saving oxygen-blast furnace at the final stage, with the trial run of its systems under way.
The completed oxygen-blast furnace project, preceded by the additional installation and completion of medium frequency induction furnaces, a large oxygen plant, plate continuous casting system and several others, is expected to help boost the production.
A technical team of the complex played a key role in design and other technical preparations for the construction of an oxygen-blast furnace and production and welfare facilities.
The construction and overhaul station and several other units are stepping up the framework, plastering and roofing of industrial buildings, and manufacture and assembly of equipment and structures.
Manufacture and assembly of thousands of tons of steel structures including ventilation devices, speed reducer, dust collector and springs have been completed, and they are now under trial operation according to their systems.
