The Korean Central News Agency released a commentary under the title "'Tripartite Cooperation' Will Hasten the Timetable of 'Ruin of the Three Parties'".
The commentary said the United States is hell-bent on further strengthening tripartite military alliance under the pretext of "threat" from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and continued:
On July 28, the military brass hats of the United States, Japan and the Republic of Korea held a confab in Tokyo of Japan and drew up a memorandum on institutionalizing the framework for tripartite cooperation in security.
In a so-called "standard document" the hostile forces made clear that they would strengthen cooperation for effective operation of the real-time missile warning information sharing system aimed at the DPRK, conduct tripartite joint military exercises on a regular and systematic basis in the future and stage the multi-domain joint military drill "Freedom Edge" regularly in particular.
Such confab held by chieftains of war is an initial stage to realize their criminal attempt to change the tripartite military alliance into a nuclear alliance in the Asia-Pacific region sooner or later. So, its danger is emphasized. It is an unchangeable plot of the United States to realize its military domination over the region by more tightly binding the two stooges in its nuclear chains under the pretext of "offering extended deterrence".
It is our steadfast will to defend peace and stability of the Korean peninsula and the region by thoroughly containing and foiling the growing reckless and provocative hostile acts of the United States and its stooges with our powerful self-defence capacity overwhelming them no matter what they may attempt and no matter what choice they may make. The "new era of the tripartite cooperation" eulogized by the United States, Japan and the Republic of Korea will only hasten the timetable of "ruin of the three parties", the commentary added.
