The Okryu Children's Hospital is in Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
There is a heliport at the hospital equipped with modern facilities.
One day in July Juche 102(2013), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Okryu Children's Hospital under construction.
That day, he acquainted himself in detail with the facilities to be installed at the hospital and asked an official whether a heliport was expected to be built there.
At that time, there was mo heliport in the design of the hospital.
Han Yun Hwi, Lecturer of the Okryu Children's Hospital, says:
"In the past, when serious cases difficult to be treated at local hospitals broke out, helicopters carrying able medical team used to fly there while emergency ambulances were on standby at the airport to bring them to the hospital.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said heliports should be expected at important hospitals like the children's hospital to carry the emergency cases. A heliport did not seem to be expected in the design, he said and added that even the heliport must be expected in the future."
This is how the heliport was built at the Okryu Children's Hospital.
