Young people in South Phyongan, North Hwanghae and Kangwon provinces and Nampho Municipality of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea have volunteered for the theatre for recovery from flood damage, true to the decision of the 22nd emergency enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Meetings of young vanguard volunteers took place on the spots with the attendance of officials concerned, youth league officials and young people.
Read out there was the decision of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee "On rapidly repairing the flood damage in North Phyongan and Jagang provinces" and speeches were made.
The speakers noted that the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un put forward the youth as the masters responsible for the future of the country and called them to the theatre for recovery from flood damage, showing deep trust in them again.
Saying it is bounden duty and obligation of the Korean youth to take the lead in overcoming the trials the country faced and throw in their lot with it, they called for carrying out the recovery task, given by the Party, most thoroughly and perfectly at the time set by the Party and reporting the satisfactory results to the great Party Central Committee.
At the meetings, all those present wrote down their names in the list of volunteers, hardening their will to devote their all to the recovery campaign, regarding its theatre as the foremost area for defence of the country.
