A national presentation of experience in wheat cultivation technology took place through video conferencing at the Sci-Tech Complex on the 6th and the 7th under the sponsorship of the Korean Association of Agricultural Techniques of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.
Present there were scientists, technicians, teachers and field officials of over 40 units including the Academy of Agricultural Science, the Wonsan University of Agriculture, the South Hwanghae Provincial Agricultural Science Institute and the Jangchon Vegetable Farm in Sadong District.
More than 100 valuable papers were submitted to the presentation, which can make a substantial contribution to breeding good strains suited to the climatic and soil conditions of the country, actively introducing them and reaping high yields.
During the presentation, a technical lecture was given on the sci-tech ways to minimize damage by flood, rain and wind and on the use of Pitocin in the wheat cultivation.
