The 2024 Summer Aesthetic Symposium in the Field of Land and Environment Protection was held through video conferencing at the Sci-Tech Complex on the 14th.
Present at the symposium held under the subject "Creation of Forests of Economic Value and Forest Landscape" were Minister of Land and Environment Protection Kim Kyong Jun, and officials, scientists and teachers in the field of land and environment protection and relevant units.
They touched on some ways to organically combining the economic and aesthetic effects by rationalizing the composition and distribution of the kinds of trees on the woodland and cultivating and protecting them in a scientific way and on the experience gained in the course of creating fruit forest on Mt. Hwasong.
Speeches were made and then, a video program was screened at the symposium, which shows the nature of the country changing day by day thanks to the sincere efforts of the officials and working people who have turned out to implement the Party policy on turning all the mountains of the country into golden and treasure mountains.
