President of State Affairs Kim Jong Un sends gifts to preschoolers and schoolchildren from flood-hit areas
The respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un sent gifts to the preschoolers and schoolchildren who have come to the capital city of Pyongyang from the flood-hit areas in North Phyongan, Jagang and Ryanggang provinces thanks to the special measures taken by the Workers' Party of Korea and the government.
A meeting of conveying the gifts was held on the 16th.
Present at the meeting were Secretaries Jo Yong Won, Pak Jong Chon and Pak Thae Song and other senior officials of the Central Committee of the WPK, preschoolers and schoolchildren and their parents from the flood-hit areas.
Jo Yong Won made an address.
He said Marshal Kim Jong Un is most concerned about the issue on the life and education of the children and schoolchildren while guiding the disaster rehabilitation, and continued:
All sorts of gifts such as school uniforms, school things, satchels and shoes represent his warm sincerity to make the children from the flood-hit areas brighter without any gloom.
Here in the hostels built for national conferences and events temporary classrooms and rooms for experiments and practical training have been arranged for the preschoolers and schoolchildren and many kindergarten and school teachers in the capital city are waiting for them who would enjoy a happy life. This is an impressive scene unprecedented in the history of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
Some months later, the houses, schools and kindergartens of the schoolchildren and preschoolers from the flood-hit areas will be wonderfully changed beyond recognition, he said and called upon them to study and live well and grow more vivaciously and wonderfully in those days before going back to their home villages built by Marshal Kim Jong Un.
Then, senior officials of the Party Central Committee conveyed the gifts associated with the great love of Marshal Kim Jong Un to the children and schoolchildren.
