Meetings of working people's organizations took place on September 5 to celebrate the 76th founding anniversary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
A meeting of workers and members of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) was held at the Pyongyang General Electric Cable Factory 326 and a meeting of agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) at the Jongbaek Vegetable Farm in Rangnang District of Pyongyang.
Pak In Chol, chairman of the GFTUK Central Committee, and Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the UAWK Central Committee, made reports at the meetings to be followed by speeches.
The reporters and speakers said that all the people across the country are significantly celebrating the 76th birthday of the DPRK amid the vigorous struggle to provide a clear practical guarantee for implementing the five-year plan, firmly united around the great Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee with patriotism.
They noted that the dignity and prestige of the Republic are shining on the highest level and a new era of a powerful country, a new history of national prosperity, is being ushered in under the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un 's outstanding idea on state-building and seasoned leadership.
They stressed that Kim Jong Un demonstrated the dignity of the socialist country of Juche all over the world as a genuine people's country with the national traits of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people.
They stressed the need to dynamically conduct the socialist patriotic movements and revolutionary mass movements, do more good things conducive to the prosperity of the country and positively display the communist virtue and beautiful traits of helping and leading each other forward.
They called for making a tangible contribution to the prosperity of the Republic, saying that only victory and glory are in store for the Korean people advancing under the outstanding and seasoned leadership of Kim Jong Un .
