Various functions to celebrate the 76 th founding anniversary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) took place in Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Kazakhstan and Mexico from August 27 to September 9.
Speeches were given at the meetings attended by personages of political and social circles and other people in these countries.
The Deputy Director of the General Political Department of the Laotian People’s Army said that the DPRK has achieved great successes in bolstering up national defense, developing economy and improving the people’s living standard under the guidance of President Kim Il Sung , Chairman Kim Jong Il and respected Comrade Kim Jong Un over the past 76 years, and wished that the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries with a good tradition would be eternal.
Senators of Pakistan and personages of the Pakistan Awami National Party, the Pakistan Trade Union Federation and the Pakistan-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Committee said that the prosperity, glory and dignity of the DPRK are associated with the august names of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who transformed the DPRK into an invincible socialist state and emphasized that the DPRK would demonstrate only victory and glory thanks to the energetic leadership of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .
A member of the Central Executive Committee of the Myanmar Journalist Association stressed that the DPRK would certainly attain its goal of becoming a prosperous power thanks to the outstanding leadership of H.E. Kim Jong Un , detailing the DPRK’s history of proud victory.
The General Secretary of the Central Committee of the People’s Socialist Party of Mexico, the Chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, the Chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, the Chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association and the Chairman of the Finland-Korea Society highly praised the feats performed by President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in the founding and development of the DPRK.
Congratulatory messages to respected Comrade Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings held in Pakistan, Denmark and Sweden.
