The workers' art group of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea and the mobile artistic motivational squad of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill staged a joint performance “Glory to Our Motherly Party” on October 8 celebrating the 79th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
The performance started with male quintet “Long Live the Workers’ Party of Korea”, followed by various colourful numbers representing the Korean workers’ best wishes for the great WPK which always puts them forward as the creators of miracles and feats.
The performers sang the praises of the immortal exploits the peerlessly great men performed in developing the Party into a true motherly party which bears responsibility for the destiny of the people and takes good care of it and into a mass-based party which enjoys the absolute support and trust of the people.
As they vividly reflected the boundless trust of the workers and trade union members in the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , the songs “Our Dear Marshal” and “We Cannot Live Without Him” plucked at the heartstrings of the audience.
The choral recitation of poem “Party’s Decisions Are Our Lifeline” and other numbers fully demonstrated the firm will of the workers to support the decisions adopted at the Ninth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea with perfect practice.
