All the people in the DPRK significantly celebrated the 79th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Many people visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the sacred temple of Juche where President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il , founder and builder of the Workers' Party of Korea, lie in state.
The visitors entered the park of the square and paid homage to the great leaders.
Officials, working people, service personnel and youth and students visited the statues of the great leaders and mosaics depicting the peerlessly great men on Mansu Hill and in other parts of the country and laid floral baskets, bouquets and flowers before them.
Many people visited the Monument to Party Founding.
There were national flag-raising ceremonies in different parts of the country.
At the Pyongyang International House of Culture where the 5th National Sculpture and Craftwork Festival is held in celebration of the 79th founding anniversary of the WPK, the visitors looked round sculptures and craftworks reflecting the best wishes of all the people for the great motherly Party.
Celebrations and oratorical meetings were held by working people's organizations in South Phyongan, Jagang and North Hamgyong provinces and Kaesong Municipality, etc.
Performances were given in Pyongyang and other parts of the country to celebrate the October holiday.
The dance parties of young people and women's union members revved up the festive mood.
Service facilities in the capital city and other parts of the country were crowded with visitors.
The Central Zoo, the Natural History Museum, the Munsu Water Park and other bases for cultural and leisure activities were filled with happy laughter of the people.
