Officials, working people, service personnel and youth and students in the DPRK laid floral baskets before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il across the country on the occasion of the 79th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Placed before the statues of the great leaders on Mansu Hill were floral baskets in the names of the Party, government, armed forces organs, ministries, national agencies, units of the Korean People's Army and the Public Security Forces, institutions, enterprises and universities at all levels in Pyongyang.
The visitors paid tribute to the statues of the great leaders, recollecting their sacred exploits for Party building.
Flower baskets in the names of institutions, enterprises, units of the KPA and the PSF and bouquets and flowers were laid before the statues of the great leaders in various parts of Pyongyang, including Kim Il Sung University and the Mansudae Art Studio.
Officials, working people, service personnel and youth and students across the country visited the statues of the great leaders in their residential areas to pay tribute to them.
