To Contribute Even a Little

In late September some women helped the agricultural workers’ harvest in Oyu-ri, Popdong County. They are Om Yong Hui, Kim Yong Chun and other members of the county Party committee officials’ family workteam of the Popdong County Forest Management Station.

Though they were busy with their work in tree nursery, they, saying that helping harvest is their duty, actively helped the farmers in the farm by using their free time.

In fact, they have managed the roads in the county voluntarily and given an active assistance to construction of rural dwelling houses in the county.

They are all housewives, but they find the delight and worth of life in working a lot. Indeed, they keep in their minds the ardent enthusiasm for face-lifting their native place.

Road He Covered with Conscience

Pak Kun Su residing in the 26th people’s neighborhood unit in Yokjon-dong, Central District enjoys love and respect among the people at the rehabilitation construction site in Jagang Province.

Two months ago he fell in deep thought receiving the news of revolutionary activities of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who inspected the flood-hit areas.

He thought that anybody in this country should fulfill their civic duty to lessen the anxiety of the respected General Secretary.

His civil consciousness made him volunteer to work at the rehabilitation work site. Since the first day of rehabilitation work he has devoted his all efforts and enthusiasm.

Once when he came to know that the soldier-builders suffered from lack of gravels and sand he sincerely helped them all night.

He has performed numerous good deeds ever since. Thanks to a lot of conscientious persons like him who fulfill their civic duty by turning the Party’s intention into reality, innovative successes are being achieved successively day after day.

Nappy Duty Dossier

Ri Song Ho, a worker of the Toksong County Water Supply and Drainage Station, has some nappy duty dossiers.

Those dossiers show decades of Ri and his wife’s labor life for which they have worked voluntarily at the remote gathering ground.

As they worked alternately, they could hardly enjoy each other’s company and, therefore, bestow warm affection upon children.

However, they never regretted their job but devoted their sincerity to their work, supplying water to residents in the county.

Since some years ago another name has been written on the dossier; their son Ri Jin Guk, demobilized solider.

He has a beautiful aspiration to live as a needed person for society and collective as his parents who have worked conscientiously for all their life to uphold the Party and the country.

Those nappy dossiers tell the beautiful personalities of our era’s genuine persons who find worth and pride of living in devoting themselves for the country and native place whether they are acknowledged or not.
