Taekwon-Do colleges in different parts of the DPRK direct much effort to training a larger number of excellent Taekwon-Do players who would contribute to developing the orthodox martial art of the Korean nation.

South Hamgyong Provincial Taekwon-Do College has developed new teaching methods using rational teaching means and training instruments like the device for measuring continuous strike by the hand and foot, so as to improve the quality of skills training.
It has also introduced effective teaching methods which help students theoretically understand the accuracy and sequence of pattern movements of Taekwon-Do by way of comparison.
Pyongyang Municipal Taekwon-Do College has developed and introduced various applications conducive to measuring and assessing the exercise psychology of players and making teaching processes more scientific.
In addition, it has newly made lecture plans using multimedia, which it applies in subjects concerned. And it steadily pushes forward the work to build a database with the basic knowledge of sports and medical materials which can help the students in their extracurricular studies.
Meanwhile, Kangwon Provincial Taekwon-Do College ensures that the teachers give lessons of majors in close combination with their related subjects to improve the thinking and application abilities of the students. It also makes constant efforts to develop and introduce training instruments and methods which can ensure the speed, power and accuracy of technical movements of Taekwon-Do.
