Selecting Site for School

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un had long planned to build the Central Cadres Training School of the Workers’ Party of Korea in an excellent way.

Whenever he had the opportunity, he gave instructions on the affairs of the school. When he visited the school on October 17, 2022, he unfolded a plan for building it into a political school which would be impeccable even by the standards of the distant future.

To choose an ideal site for the school, he visited all the good places in Pyongyang, and had models of structures set up there and examined them taking various aspects into consideration.

Then he selected the site in the Mt Kumsu area and led the designers to draw the designs in such a way that they could reflect the school’s aspects and quality as a research centre that provides an educational and academic support to the Party’s efforts to strengthen itself organizationally and ideologically and its leadership activities.

When he visited the school under construction in March, he was very satisfied over the fact that it was assuming all the aspects and quality as a prestigious educational institute symbolizing the absolute dignity of the Party and the invincibility of its cause.

For Training Revolutionaries Possessed of WPK’s Original Ideals and Spirit

The Central Cadres Training School of the Workers’ Party of Korea was inaugurated on May 21.

In the speech he delivered at the inaugural ceremony, Kim Jong Un said that it is the basic mission of the school to train hard-working and passionate revolutionaries who are possessed of the Party’s original ideals and spirit, lofty ambition and staunch faith.

Proceeding from the requirement of the reality when the Party entered a crucial point of its qualitative consolidation, he set forth the slogan “ Let Us Usher in a Great Heyday of Building Up the Party in the New Era by Carrying Forward the Party’s Original Ideals and Spirit! ” and defined it as the primary revolutionary task for the cadres to equip themselves with the ideals, faith and spirit of the revolutionaries of the first generation who accomplished the cause of the Party founding.

At the ceremony of opening the school held on June 1 marking the 78th anniversary of its establishment he delivered a speech and handed the flag of the WPK over to the dean of the school.

He then saw the students at the first lecture on retraining course. He carefully listened to the whole course of the lecture and taught how the students should receive the lessons and improve their methods of studying. And he spoke highly of the teacher saying that he was very good at lecturing and had an ability befitting a spokesman for the Party's ideology and theory and asked him to educate his students to possess all qualities of true revolutionaries, ardent patriots and genuine persons.

That day he said in deep emotion that as he was thinking that stalwart pillars who would play a big role in the building and activities of the Party, core members of the Party who could be entrusted with important positions in politics, the economy, culture and national defence, he was filled with pride in having carried out the most valuable of all undertakings for the Party and the country.
