Industrial establishments across the country are directing efforts to producing quality goods with locally available raw and other materials.
In the third quarter of the year over 50 kinds of goods produced by 10-odd units were registered as February 2 products, while hundreds of production lines and products of more than 280 units in different sectors including foodstuff industry and public health obtained quality certifications.
Glossy paints for construction and other ten items produced by the Pyongyang Jonghyang Building-materials Factory were put on the list of February 2 Product.
The O-il General Health Drink Factory and the Kyonghung Unhasu Drink Factory produced tasty ice cream and draught beer. And the Sinuiju Cosmetics Factory, the Hamhung Disabled Soldiers’ Essential Plastic Goods Factory and other units ensured the quality of their products at a high level.
Amid a brisk campaign to put production lines on a scientific and modern basis, the number of units receiving quality certifications increased.
In the foodstuff industry sector, production lines of over 200 units including the Kwangbok Kumgangsan Foodstuff Factory, Hungnam Taesong General Fishery Enterprise, Taedonggang Brewery and Pyongyang Condiments Factory have received the certifications of foodstuff safety management system.
Meanwhile, the Sosong Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory, Phyongchon Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory, Rason Pharmaceutical Factory and other units in the public health sector have achieved quality standards in every production line, thus winning GMP certifications for their production lines of tablets, capsules, powdered medicines, liquid medicines and medicines for external use.
