The Russian Foreign Minister, in his recent interview with an American journalist, stressed that Russia will never accept any ultimatum-like and unacceptable demands regarding the adjustment of the Ukrainian crisis and that the US and the West should not behave rashly.
Though the U.S. is not officially at war with Russia, it has Ukraine instead to fight a hybrid war, he noted. He also pinpointed that it is typical of American foreign policy to cause trouble with other countries for the sake of its egoistic interests.
Regarding the use of the new medium-range ballistic missile Oreshnik by Russian armed forces, the US and its allies must be aware that Russia will have all means at her disposal to deter the West’s bid to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia, he said and warned that Russia is willing to send an additional “signal” in case the West fails to come to a necessary conclusion.
He also took note of a series of remarks made by some figures, soon to take up important positions in the next U.S. administration, regarding the termination of Ukrainian conflict, and explicitly stated the Russian position against any proposal unacceptable to Russia and on zero tolerance for the ultimatum of any sort.
