The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un made important conclusions at the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea in late December last year. They convince the Korean people that their cause and ideals would be successfully realized, and inject fresh energy into their general advance for bringing earlier an era of comprehensive national prosperity.

The Korean people are accelerating the general advance to glorify 2025 as a year of great victory and glory by implementing to the letter the decisions made at the historic plenary meeting.

Last year they opened a new era of unprecedented transformation in the face of the challenging situation they had never experienced.

The biggest success was that the country’s absolute prestige was further raised and the defence of its sovereignty and development of socialism were firmly guaranteed by continuously growing political and military might.

The overall national economy showed a firm growth trend and substantial results directly related to the people’s well-being were produced, thus consolidating the people’s support for and trust in the Party’s policies.

In particular, eye-catching progress was made in the country’s architecture, demonstrating its rapid development.

Precious innovations and progress were made in the overall fields of cultural construction including science, education, public health, literature and the arts and sports, and the first impeccable entities of the Regional Development 20×10 Policy sprang up as part of the important changes of the comprehensive national prosperity in the new era.

All the achievements made last year replete with creative and innovative successes of great significance are the fruition of Kim Jong Un ’s noble ideal, strategic decision and seasoned leadership.

The struggle programme and strategies set forth by him at major Party and national meetings last year served as a treasured sword that enabled the Korean people to turn the difficulties they faced into great victory and change.

Under his outstanding leadership the whole country seethed with continuous innovation and uninterrupted offensive while giving full play to its inexhaustible potential for development and the Korean people showed amazing patriotic loyalty. As a result, last year was recorded as a year of miracles in the history of the national development.

This year marks the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK.

To celebrate the birthday of the great Party, which represents the dignity, destiny and future of the Korean people, with proud feats of labour is the tradition, pride and honour peculiar to the Korean people.

They now are bringing about great changes and rapid progress in all fields of national construction to successfully implement the tasks for the final year of the five-year plan set forth at the Eighth Party Congress and greet the 80th founding anniversary of the Party as a grand festival of victors.
