True to the decisions of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, factories in foodstuff industry have turned out to increase the output while concentrating efforts on improvement of the quality of products and development of new products.
The Kwangbok Kumgangsan Foodstuff Factory has improved products quality and minimized cost by developing and introducing valuable technical ideas as many as possible.
The factory applied a creative idea of reusing the cooling water from a production line for the other one, and renovated facilities to this end by its own efforts.
As a result, lots of electricity consumed for heating could be saved and the productivity enhanced.
The Sonhung Foodstuff Factory is working to diversify the products in terms of kind and shape.
The factory has improved the quality of products such as sweets, biscuits and bread by carrying out research projects to tackle sci-tech problems arising in the production of new products and improvement of the quality of products.
The Kanggye Winery makes strenuous efforts to retain the distinctive taste and aroma of wine, bringing about a remarkable success.
The Samjiyon Bog Bilberry Drink Factory, the Songdo Foodstuff Factory and other factories are also keen to improve the quality of their products and enhance productivity by adopting innovative approaches and methods to business activities so as to develop their own specialities in keeping with the growing demands of the people.
