One day in December 2016, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the newly-built Wonsan Army-People Power Station.
Standing on the dam, he was very satisfied with the new magnificent power station.
Feasting his eyes on the large artificial lake filled with water, he exclaimed: Really wonderful! This makes me keenly realize once again how enormous and formidable the mental strength of man with a hardened resolve is. Inexhaustible is the creative strength and wisdom of our people who harness nature as they want.
The power station was a precious structure which the people of Kangwon Province, in support of a far-reaching plan of the Party and the leader, had built by dint of self-reliance and self-development in the face of difficult conditions in which everything was in short supply.
Looking at the dam again and again, Kim Jong Un said that it seems to him that the dam represents the wall of the faith of the people to throw in their lot with the Party to the last even though the sky might fall, and the height of the invincible might of all the people who have formed an integral whole around the Party.
