A sports contest of commanding personnel of the People's Army was held on the occasion of the army founding day.
It was enjoyed by commanding personnel of the Ministry of National Defence including No Kwang Chol, Jong Kyong Thaek and Ri Yong Gil, military and political commanders of units of the KPA at all levels and other service personnel.
The contest was held, divided into "Kumgangsan" team and "Ryongaksan" team.
First, there was a volleyball match, in which the "Ryongaksan" team defeated the "Kumgangsan" team 2:0
Then, there was a martial arts and striking demonstration of combatants of the People's Army.
Their demonstration was applauded by the spectators.
Other colourful amusement games gave joy and optimism to the spectators.
The "Kumgangsan" team defeated the "Ryongaksan" team in the tug of war.
The "Ryongaksan" team came first in the contest.
An awarding ceremony was held amid big applause of the participants.
