A performance was given at the Mansudae Art Theatre on the 16th to celebrate of the 83rd birth anniversary of the great leader Kim Jong Il.
The performance was appreciated by Choe Ryong Hae, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and First Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, officials of the Central Committee of the WPK, Meritorious Persons of Socialist Patriotism in the city of Pyongyang, officials and creators in the field of arts and members of the congratulatory group of Koreans in Japan on a visit to the socialist homeland.
The performers highly praised the immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il who devoted himself to prosperity of the country and happiness of the people with his superhuman will and energy humanity never knows in the whole period of his revolutionary life since he made his first step at the battle sites of the Paektu.
