Meetings were held in Denmark, Bulgaria, Sweden, Britain, Austria, Italy, France, Mexico and Peru from February 12 to 15 to celebrate the 83rd birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Speeches were made at the meetings attended by personages of political parties, organizations and institutions and masses in those countries.
The chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association praised Kim Jong Il as the prominent leader of the Korean and world revolution, outstanding statesman and benevolent father of the people.
The chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association lauded Kim Jong Il for consistently adhering to the principle of independence and socialism and remarkably strengthening the international position of the DPRK in the whole period of his revolutionary career.
The chairman of the Korean Friendship Association UK and the secretary general of the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and DPRK praised the immortal exploits and noble devoted career of Kim Jong Il, the peerlessly veteran statesman and peerless patriot.
The general secretary and the international secretary of the C.C., People’s Socialist Party of Mexico, the chairperson of the Mexico-Korea Solidarity Committee, the secretary general of the France-Korea Friendship Association and other personages highly praised the world-historic exploits performed by Kim Jong Il who had recorded the most successful political history for decades through his energetic ideo-theoretical activities and with his distinguished leadership ability.
The coordinator of the Organization of Communists of Italy and the chairman of the Italian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea lauded Kim Jong Il’s Songun leadership exploits, stressing: The reality of the DPRK conducting the gigantic work to put the regional industry on a new high stage of development in parallel with the housing construction while frustrating the hostile forces’ moves to stifle it clearly demonstrates the validity and vitality of the Juche idea. The Korean people will surely build a socialist power under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un.
Congratulatory messages to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un were adopted at the meetings held in Denmark, Bulgaria and Sweden.
