More than 107,000 schoolchildren have enjoyed camping at the Songdowon International Children’s Camp for 10-odd years after it was remodeled under the care of our Party.

The Songdowon International Children’s Camp is an excellent base for extracurricular education that was provided for the schoolchildren thanks to the ardent loving care of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who spares nothing for the rising generation.

The President fixed a place of scenic beauty in Songdown for the schoolchildren’s camp and visited several times to bring up the schoolchildren with credit.

And the Chairman provided our schoolchildren with the renovated camp which is an epitome of love of the President who devoted his all to the rising generation.

The Chairman took measures to have schoolchildren from not only our country but other countries enjoying camping at the camp.

The respected General Secretary, with the noble viewpoint on the rising generation same as the President and the Chairman had, planned to remodel the camp and solved all the problems arising in the renovation.

He saw to it that the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il being with children were erected at the Songdowon International Children’s Camp.

In addition, on the day of the inaugural ceremony of the camp, he, together with the children, spent the whole day seeing the final match of the National Children’s Football Games, congratulatory performance given by a famous art troupe and fireworks display.

Indeed, the Songdowon International Children’s Camp is glorifying its proud history as the children’s hotel and palace unprecedented in the world thanks to the loving care of the President, the Chairman and the respected General Secretary.

Since its inauguration in May, 2014, schoolchildren at Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School, orphan’s secondary schools from across the country, schools in northern tip and in the afflicted areas near the border and others throughout the country have enjoyed the camping with pleasure and delight.

Last year, in particular, hundreds of schoolchildren from the flood-hit areas in North Phyongan Province, Jagang Province and Ryanggang Province spent the meaningful and pleasant days by camping amid the blessings of the people throughout the country.

And nearly 1,800 foreign children from Russia and other countries shared the feeling of friendship enjoying camping along with our schoolchildren.
