A round-table talk took place at the Lang Son Provincial Museum on the 10th to commemorate the 6th anniversary of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's historic official goodwill visit to Viet Nam.
Present there were figures of the government, organizations and institutions of Viet Nam including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Viet Nam-DPRK Friendship Association and the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, the ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to Viet Nam and staff members of his embassy.
The participants laid a floral basket before a photo of the great leader Kim Il Sung meeting with President Ho Chi Minh in the section of exhibition of historic relics related to Kim Jong Un's visit to Viet Nam and paid homage to them before looking round the section.
Speeches were made at the talk.
Figures of the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry and Lang Son Provincial People's Committee said the friendly and cooperative relations between Viet Nam and the DPRK are the friendly relations provided by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung and that the official goodwill visit to Viet Nam paid by Kim Jong Un in 2019, in particular, serves as an occasion of having developed the relations between the two parties and two countries onto a new high stage.
The party, government and people of Viet Nam warmly congratulate the Korean people on their successes in the socio-economic development and the improvement of the people's living, they said and sincerely hoped that the Korean people would make greater achievements with high determination and will under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un this year marking the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation.
