The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un received a letter of thanks from the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on the 14th.
The letter said:
We received with great excitement and pleasure 287,020,000 yen of educational aid fund and stipends you sent for the democratic national education of the children of Koreans in Japan on the occasion of the 113th birth anniversary of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, the greatest holiday of the nation.
The educational aid fund and stipends you sent give conviction of sure victory and great courage to the entire officials of Chongryon and Korean compatriots in Japan who are vigorously conducting the innovative movement for glorifying the 70th anniversary of the formation of Chongryon with the might of loyalty, patriotism and unity.
In this significant year marking the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation and the 70th anniversary of the formation of Chongryon, we will wage a dynamic struggle to completely carry out the tasks outlined in your important letter bearing in mind the true meaning of your idea on attaching importance to Chongryon and the national education, and thus provide a firm guarantee for implementing the decision of the 25th Congress of Chongryon.
The letter sincerely wished good health to Marshal Kim Jong Un, the sun of Juche Korea and kindhearted father and great teacher of Chongryon and Korean compatriots in Japan.
