The embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Russia gave a reception on the 14th on the occasion of the 113th birth anniversary of the great leader Kim Il Sung.
Invited to the reception were personages of the Russian government, federal assembly, political parties, organizations and institutions including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology, the Ministry of Health, the Federation Council, the State Duma, the Party for Peace and Unity and the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK.
Present there were the DPRK ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Russia and staff members of his embassy.
The participants laid a floral basket and bouquets before a joint picture of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and paid tribute to them.
Then, they looked round the photographs reflecting the sacred revolutionary careers and exploits of the great leaders and the undying feats performed by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the development of the friendly relations between the DPRK and Russia, and photos showing the invincible might of Juche Korea and her remarkable progress.
Speeches were made at the reception.
In the meantime, the DPRK missions in Vladivostok and Khabarovsk of Russia also hosted receptions on the 11th and the 14th on the same occasion.
