Modern regional-industry factories built in 20 cities and counties are making steady efforts to build up their technical forces with which to propel their own development. To this end, they are attaching importance to the effective operation of their sci-tech learning spaces.
Officials of foodstuff factories made sure that the sci-tech learning spaces are run and the day of technical study is observed in a responsible manner, while steadily updating their databases in keeping with the current development of science and technology.
The foodstuff factories in Songchon and Sukchon counties, South Phyongan Province, have had their workers and technicians enrolled in online courses given by central-level universities and run their sci-tech learning spaces in close contact with the Sci-Tech Complex, which proves to be conducive to raising the quality of products.
Those in Unsan County of North Phyongan Province, Onchon County of Nampho Municipality and other parts of the country have adopted profitable forms and methods of running the sci-tech learning spaces to intensify the study of various foodstuff processing techniques with the help of the database of national platforms and promote brainstorming to develop new products.
Daily necessities factories and garment factories are striving to improve the quality of the products by dint of their technical forces.
The Jangphung County Daily Necessities Factory in Kaesong Municipality focuses the study on the current development of furniture, information concerning the characteristics of plastic materials and other issues to solve technical problems arising in the production of consumer goods.
The Unpha County Garment Factory in North Hwanghae Province has invited experts, teachers and researchers to give lectures on expertise and intensified study of science and technology, while stepping up technical transfer and practical training on the cutting and tailoring processes. This stimulates the creative initiative of the employees in working out designs that suit the demands and tastes of the people.
Amid the zeal for sci-tech learning soaring everywhere, the employees possessed of technical skills of a level higher than theirs are on the increase and precious results are brought about in production growth and quality improvement.
