Several events ofthe professionalsports sector of the 14th National People’s Games took place at theHandball Gymnasium, Taekwon-Do Hall and elsewhere on ChongchunStreet in Pyongyang.
The Amnokgang SportsClub won the men’s handball event and the Sobaeksu Sports Team the women’s, and thePyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill Sports Club the women’s fieldhockey event.
In the TeQballgame, divided into men’s and women’s singles, mixed doubles and team events, players of the Pyongyang SportsClub and the Kim Jong ThaeElectric Locomotive Complex Sports Club gained advancedpositions.
The Pyongyang MunicipalTaekwon-Do Team took thefirst place in total standings of the Taekwon-Do event, the paduk team of the PyongyangMunicipal Paduk Centre the paduk event and the paduk team of the North HwanghaeProvincial Paduk Centre the Korean chessevent.
Trophies andmedals were awarded to thesuccessful teams and players.
