Schoolchildren's Art Troupe of Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace Gives Premiere at Vladivostok, Russia

A schoolchildren's art troupe of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace on a visit to the Maritime Territory of Russia gave the premiere at the Maritime Territorial Branch of the Mariinsky Theatre of Russia on May 5.
Among the audience were Oleg Kozhemyako, governor of the Maritime Territory Administration, personages of the government, legislative assembly and youth and children organizations in the Maritime Territory, teachers, students and citizens in Vladivostok and members of the consulates of different countries at Vladivostok.
Jo Sok Chol, DPRK consul general to Vladivostok, and members of his consulate also enjoyed the performance.
Put on the stage, started with prologue "We Are the Happiest in the World", were colourful numbers showing the bright and cheerful life of the DPRK schoolchildren, as well as Russian songs.
The numbers including dances and acrobatics vividly reflecting the joy, optimism and mind of the DPRK children were highly appreciated by the audience for their beautiful dance rhythm and high artistic skills.
The performers successfully presented Russian songs including "Katyusha" and "Happy Birthday" with clear voices and various playing skills.
A flower basket was conveyed to the performers in congratulation of their successful performance.
The performance of the schoolchildren's art troupe of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace evoked a great response from the audience.
The governor of the Maritime Territory Administration expressed the warmest thanks to Comrade Kim Jong Un who sent an art troupe on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Russia's victory in the Great Patriotic War, saying that the visit by the art troupe shows that the Russia-DPRK friendship successfully developing thanks to the top leaders of the two countries has been carried forward generation after generation.
The chairperson of the Legislative Assembly of the Maritime Territory said that the excellent artistic talents and skills of little performers touched the audience's heartstrings, adding that the ardent encores and loud applause from the audience are not only the congratulations on their successful performance but also an expression of admiration and praise for the excellent education system that has trained them.
