Preserved in the International Friendship Exhibition House situated in Mt Myohyang, a celebrated mountain in the DPRK, are as many as 5 000 gifts presented to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un from over 110 countries. They are categorized by continents, countries, social strata and years.
Among them are gold- and silver-plated craftwork “Camel” from the general manager (Indian) of the United Operational General Trading Company, Kuwait, craftwork “The steering wheel of Juche” from the Yingkou Sanhua Group in Liaoning Province, China, gold work “Best wish”from the general manager (Jordanian) of Ramco Trading and Contracting Co. W. L. L., Qatar and other gifts from the former vice-president of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the former Nepalese prime minister, Giancarlo Elia Valori, president of the International Group of Italy and Comrade Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, president of the Russian Federation. The gifts from the Russian president include a gold medal, long sword and tea set he directly presented to Kim Jong Un to commemorate their meeting during the latter’s visit to Russia.
A former Nepalese prime minister said that he was completely enthralled by the unusual personality of General Secretary Kim Jong Un while witnessing the reality in the DPRK during his visit to the country in 2017 and that he prepared the gift by ordering it from the most famous craftsman in his country. Handing the gift over to the DPRK side, he said that he prepared the gift depicting a running steed symbolic of the DPRK which had achieved rapid growth at the speed of Chollima in the past and was now making more stunning progress under the leadership of Kim Jong Un .
The silver kettle, a gift presented by Valori, was made in Britain in 1828 and had long been preserved in the British royal palace.
The gifts represent the boundless respect of the world peoples for Kim Jong Un .
