Recorded in the proud course of the Korean youth movement are numerous patriotic deeds of the young vanguard who have found themselves at the sites of great upsurge of socialist construction before others and created the legendary tale of heroic youth, going through fire and water in response to the call of the Party and the country.
Hundreds of thousands of young people have volunteered to work in difficult and challenging sectors for five years since the Eighth Party Congress.
The volunteers amounted to more than 10,000 in 2021 alone, the year when the Eighth Party Congress was held.
