Workers, trade unionists, women's union members and school youth and children across the country met war veterans on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
When the war veterans entered the venues of the meetings, the participants warmly welcomed them.
At the meetings held in South and North Phyongan and South Hwanghae provinces, the war veterans looked back with deep emotion on the grim days when they fought decisive battles against the aggressors to defend the dignity, honour and sovereignty of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, remaining loyal to the guidance of the great leader Kim Il Sung, an ever-victorious iron-willed brilliant commander.
They ardently called on the participants to devote all their strength, wisdom and passion for the prosperity of the country defended and built up by the forerunners at the cost of their blood.
