Celebrations of the 72nd anniversary of victory in the Fatherland Liberation War are to be held in the capital city of Pyongyang, adding to the joy and excitement of the victors who greet the great V-Day that gave immortal glory and fame to our dignified and powerful state as an all-people event.
The war veterans and people of wartime merits, who were invited to the celebrations on behalf of the victorious wartime generation, were seen off by officials of the Party and government organs and working people in the regions concerned and their families and relatives.
They arrived in Pyongyang by train and bus on the 25th.
They were received by officials of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea at the Pyongyang Railway Station and lodgings.
Citizens and youth and students waved their hands to the buses carrying war veterans and people of wartime merits along the streets of the capital city.
Meanwhile, the soldiers of the battery of the Korean People's Army invited by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to the celebrations of the 72nd anniversary of war victory as special guests also arrived in Pyongyang on the same day.
