In recent years, single- and low-story and terraced modern houses have been built in all parts of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea according to the characteristics of areas and regions, face-lifting the countryside.
It is a result of the great efforts of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who works hard to fundamentally change the life environment of the socialist countryside.
One day in November 2021, Kim Jong Un gave field guidance to different units in the city of Samjiyon.
He expressed great satisfaction, saying: The farm villages in the city of Samjiyon including the village of the Junghung Farm have been built in socialist style. It can be said that they were passed as all the farmers like them.
It is a determination of the Party to build such rural villages not only in the city of Samjiyon but also in different other parts of the country. This is the work to be done in our generation at any cost, he added.
At the Fourth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea held some time later, Kim Jong Un considered the rural revolution to be the supreme task our generation must carry out for the younger generations.
That is how the construction of modern rural houses which started in Samjiyon of Ryanggang Province called the first village under the sky was carried on in full swing across the country.
It is not a distant future work that all the rural villages will be changed into a socialist utopia good to work and live in.
