The Korean delegation of women officials on a visit to Russia at the invitation of the All-Russian Social Organization "Women's Union of Russia" developed cooperation and deepened friendship between the women's organizations of the two countries through various exchanges.
A friendly meeting between the Korean delegation of women officials and members of the All-Russian Social Organization "Women's Union of Russia" was held in Moscow on the 22nd.
Present at the meeting were the Korean delegation of women officials led by Kim Jong Sun, Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the mission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Russia, Chairwoman Yekaterina Lakhova and other leading figures of the Women's Union of Russia and members of the Russian Foreign Ministry. Speeches were made at the meeting.
The participants saw pictures of the immortal exploits performed by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the development of friendly relations between the DPRK and Russia and watched video programs showing the happy life of the Korean women and the work of the Women's Union of Russia.
An agreement of cooperation on the development of friendly relations between the Socialist Women's Union of Korea and the All-Russian Social Organization "Women's Union of Russia" was signed.
On the other hand, the Korean delegation of women officials visited the office building of the State Duma of Russia on the 23rd.
Expressed at the meeting and talk with women deputies including the First Vice-Chairperson of the International Affairs Committee of the State Duma were the Korean women's firm support to and solidarity with the Russian people and women in their struggle for defending the sovereignty, security interests and territorial integrity of the country.
During its stay in Russia, the Korean delegation of women officials called at different places in Moscow including the Victory Museum in Mt. Poklonnaya.
