The Sangwon Cement Complex is increasing the production in hearty response to the decision adopted at the Twelfth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
In recent years the complex has surpassed the level of the peak production year several times since its inauguration. This year, its workers have set a goal of increased production 10 times the output of last year's and overfulfilled their first half-yearly plan ahead of schedule through collective innovations.
They keep putting spurs to the cement production in the second half of the year, too. They lay a favourable production base and strengthen collaboration between processes while maximizing the operation rate of equipment in order to produce a lot of cement for the gigantic construction projects under way according to the grand plan of capital city construction and the new "Regional Development 20×10 Policy" of the WPK.
Workers of the calcination workshop are making dynamic technical innovations, well aware that the overall results of cement production depend on how many good-quality clinkers they produce.
Those at the cement and mixed raw materials workshops ensure full operation of the equipment, thus recording high results every day.
Emulation drives for increased production are also brisk at the raw materials and fuel production units.
At the Sangwon Limestone Mine, which plays a big role in supplying basic raw materials, workers are expanding successes in the production while overcoming the unfavourable weather conditions. They have technically remodelled parts of major equipment and doubled their serviceable life, overfulfilling their daily production assignments by a large margin.
Workers of the Hwachon Coal Mine increase the production by powerfully inventing and introducing technical innovation proposals, thus supplying a lot of fuel needed for the cement production.
Those at the Samchong Mine manufactured and installed efficient equipment by themselves and improved the working conditions and environment to raise the ore drawing output of every shift 1.2 times, thus carrying out their July production quota a week ahead of schedule.
The workers of the Sangwon Cement Complex are making more strenuous efforts to effect innovations in the production every day.
