The embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Russia gave a reception on the 14th on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation.
Invited to the reception were Alexandr Kozlov, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology, Sergei Lyapkov, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Alexandr Fomin, Vice-Minister of Defence, and personages of the government, political parties, organizations and institutions of Russia including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Transport, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Culture, the Party for Peace and Unity, the Russian Association for Friendship and Cultural Cooperation with the DPRK and the Railways Company.
Present there were Sin Hong Chol, DPRK Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia, and staff members of his embassy.
The participants first laid a floral basket and bouquets before a picture of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and paid homage to them.
Then, they looked round pictures showing the noble revolutionary lives and exploits of the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the undying achievements made by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the development of the friendly relations between the DPRK and Russia, their famous works and other pictures showing the invincible might and proud development of the DPRK.
Speeches were made at the reception.
