A dance party of officials and members of the women’s union was held at the plaza of the Arch of Triumph on August 15 to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation.
The dance party began amid the playing of the song “Long Live Generalissimo Kim Il Sung ”.
The participants danced, paying the highest tribute to President Kim Il Sung who inspired the Korean people with a hope of national revival and ushered in a new era of building a prosperous state, independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in defence, on this land.
The participants danced to the tune of revolutionary songs, which had resounded loudly in the battlefields of the anti-Japanese war, with boundless pride and honour of having grown up to be the country’s dignified masters and a powerful force turning one of the two wheels of the revolution and of enjoying a worthwhile life under the care of the peerlessly great men.
The atmosphere of the dance party was revved up amid the playing of the song “We Like Your Embrace Most” reflecting the pride and joy of the people who are glorifying the ever-victorious history and tradition of Juche Korea generation after generation and dynamically advancing along the road of the overall development of Korean-style socialism, holding the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the helm of the revolution.
Other officials and members of the women’s union across the country held dance parties to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Korea’s liberation.
