Seminars on exploits, friendly gatherings and other celebrations took place in Germany, Austria, Egypt, Brazil and Venezuela between the 6th and the 15th on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation.
Present there were personages of political parties, parliaments and organizations, and members of the Juche idea study organizations and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean People in those countries.
Speakers at the functions said August 15, 1945 is a significant day when a fundamental change was made in shaping the destiny of the Korean people and a new origin of socialist Korea opened and praised President Kim Il Sung as a peerlessly great man who led the severe anti-Japanese war to victory under the banner of independence and thus accomplished the cause of national liberation.
Today, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea is demonstrating its might as the most powerful country no formidable enemy dare to challenge by consolidating the national defence capabilities with the nuclear armed forces as the core in every way under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un, they stressed.
