The 78th enlarged meeting of the NationalSports Guidance Committee took place on July 31.
Kim Tok Hun, secretary of the Central Committeeof the Workers’ Party of Korea who is chairman of the National Sports GuidanceCommittee, presided over the meeting.
Present there were Pak Jong Gun, vice-premierof the Cabinet and chairman of the State Planning Commission, and Ri Ju Myong, deputydepartment director of the WPK Central Committee, who are vice-chairmen of theNational Sports Guidance Committee, members of the committee and leadingofficials of organizations supporting sports.
The meeting reviewed the work in the secondquarter of 2025 of the members of the committee and officials of the supporters’organizations and discussed the orientation of the future work.
Kim Tok Hun stressed that the members of thecommittee and officials of the supporters’ organizations should make a deepstudy of the contents of the work for implementing the Party's policy onsports, carry them out according to each provision and make positive contributionsto developing the country’s sports and the techniques of each sport.
The participants watched a video recording thesuccesses of the DPRK players who exalted the honour of the country ininternational games held in recent years.
