Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Receives Congratulatory Message from Tanzanian President

Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), and supreme commander of the armed forces of the DPRK, received a congratulatory message from Samia Suluhu Hassan, president of the United Republic of Tanzania, on August 28. In the message the president extended heartfelt congratulations to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and, through him, to the government and people of the DPRK on behalf of the government and people of the United Republic of Tanzania and on her own behalf on the occasion of September 9, 2025, the 77th founding anniversary of the DPRK and October 10, 2025, the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea. The message said that she was pleased to see the fact that the Twelfth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK convened from June 21, 2025 to 23 was successfully held under the outstanding guidance of Kim Jong Un. Such important landmark serves as the clear demonstration of the indomitable might, unity and leadership of the DPRK, it noted. The president said that she reaffirms the will of the United Republic of Tanzania to further boost the long-standing ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and the bilateral and multilateral dialogue, marking the major state events. She wished Kim Jong Un good health and the DPRK durable peace, prosperity and development.
