Jon Ryong Ae, head of the Pongnam Polyclinic in Phyongchon District, is appreciated as an official with high medical skills and abilities.
She has profound medical knowledge. She is particularly good at the treatment of burns.
She developed an efficacious Koryo medicine which can help shorten the period of treatment to the maximum while enhancing the cosmetic quality by preventing cicatrization and keloid that are generally found in patients with burns. Now it is widely used in preventive and curative medical institutions.
In addition, her new Koryo therapies for allergic dermatitis, chronic atrophic gastritis and cirrhosis have been registered as good scientific and technological achievements for their excellent practicality.

As she leads the terminal preventive and curative institution through her practical examples, the doctors of the polyclinic and residents of the dong respect her, affectionately calling her “our polyclinic head.”
