Choe Son Hui, Foreign Minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a message of greetings to her Chinese counterpart Wang Yi on October 1 on the occasion of the 76th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China.
The message said the Chinese people have made remarkable successes in accomplishing the cause of building socialism with the Chinese characteristics under the leadership of the Communist Party of China over the past 76 years after the establishment of new China, and continued:
The commemorations of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War held with splendour on September 3 are an important occasion that clearly demonstrated the daily-growing general national power and international position of the People's Republic of China.
I am rejoiced at the fact that we've exchanged in-depth opinions to thoroughly implement the agreement made by the supreme leaders of the two countries and promote friendly visits and substantial cooperation between the DPRK and China and reached an important consensus of views during my current visit to China. We will make joint efforts to more dynamically develop the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and China and strengthen the exchanges and cooperation between the diplomatic sectors of the two countries, the message stressed.
